Anoche se realizó la 24ª de los Critics’ Choice Awards, en los cuales The Americans (FX) se alzó con tres premios, incluyendo el de Mejor Serie Dramática, y The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel también resultó ganadora en tres categorías, destacado la de Mejor Serie de Comedia.
The Americans se despidió por todo lo alto de los Critics’ Choice Awards, ya que su última temporada le valió los premios a Mejor Serie Dramática, Mejor Actor para Matthew Rhys y de Mejor Actor de Reparto para Noah Emmerich.
Por su parte, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel continuó siendo la favorita de la crítica al llevarse los galardones de Mejor Serie Cómica, Mejor Actriz para Rachel Brosnahan y de Mejor Actriz de Reparto para Alex Bornstein.
Entre las categorías de Miniserie o Mejor Película para Televisión, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story siguió con su andar triunfador en la temporada de premios al llevarse el premio a Mejor Miniserie o Mejor Película para Televisión y el de Mejor Actor para su estrella, Darren Criss. Muy de cerca le siguió Sharp Objects, el drama de HBO que le otorgó a Amy Adams el título de Mejor Actriz, compartido con Patricia Arquette (Escape At Dannemora) y Patricia Clarkson el premio de Mejor Actriz de Reparto.
