Para esta oportunidad, Zoolander 2 y Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice son la cintas con más nominaciones, quienes se debatirán el premio a Peor Película, Peor Actor, Peor Actor de Reparto, Peor Director y más.
Los también llamados Razzies se han celebrado en Hollywood desde 1981, donde mayoría de los ganadores se resisten a recibir el premio, salvo algunos valientes como Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock y Tom Green.
