Guaco, única banda venezolana nominada a los Grammy Awards 2016 (LISTA COMPLETA)

Björk, Drake, Tame Impala, Flying Lotus, Jamie xx, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, y Chemical Brothers también obtuvieron menciones.

Hoy, la National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Academia Nacional de Artes y Ciencias de la Grabación) anunció sus nominados a la 58º edición de los Grammy Awards, evento que premia las mejores grabaciones, composiciones y artistas del último año.

Los grandes nominados de la ocasión son Taylor Swift y Kendrick Lamar con siete cada uno; sin embargo, tomando en cuenta la aparición de Lamar en otros temas como colaborador (poniendo de ejemplo el propio “Bad Blood” de Swift), sus menciones suben a diez.

Por otra parte, la Súper Banda de Venezuela, Guaco, obtuvo una nominación por su disco ‘Presente Continuo’ al Mejor Álbum Tropical Latino, renglón que comparte con ‘Son De Panamá’ de Rubén Blades, ‘Todo Tiene Su Hora’ de Juan Luis Guerra, ‘Que Suenen Los Tambores’ de Victor Manuelle, y ‘Tributo A Los Compadres: No Quiero Llanto’ de José Alberto ‘El Canario’ y Septeto Santiaguero.

La ceremonia se llevará a cabo el 15 de febrero del 2016, en el Staples Center de Los Angeles. La ceremonia será transmitida en vivo para Norteamérica a través de CBS.
