Los prestigiosos premios Grammys ya encontraron a los ganadores de sus distintas categorías que resaltan lo mejor de la música hecha en el último año.
Los líderes absolutos de la noche fueron Daft Punk, quienes gracias a su exitoso disco ‘Random Access Memories’ se hicieron con cinco gramófonos, incluyendo ‘Mejor álbum del año’ y ‘Mejor grabación del año’.
Macklemore y Ryan Lewis, con su disco ‘The Heist’, lograron cuatro gramófonos, como ‘Mejor disco de rap’ donde superaron a raperos consolidados como Kanye West y Jay Z, así como a otros emergentes como Kendrick Lamar.
La sorpresa neozelandesa Lorde conquistó sus dos primeros Grammys con apenas 17 años gracias a su hit “Royals”.
Los venezolanos no corrieron con suerte. Los Amigos Invisibles no conquistaron el Grammy a ‘Mejor álbum latino de rock, urbano o alternativo’, donde competían con Café Tacvba y La Santa Cecilia, que con su primer disco ganaron el premio. Draco Rosa se hizo con el premio a ‘Mejor álbum de pop latino’, donde competía con nuestro Ricardo Montaner y su disco ‘Viajero Frecuente’.
