Celebrado este fin de semana en el Shrine Auditorium de Los Ángeles.
Una de las ceremonias más populares dentro del mundo del entretenimiento cambió de nombre este año para premiar a lo mejor de la televisión y se trata de los MTV Movie & TV Awards.
Esta nueva edición fue conducida por el comediante de Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates, Adam DeVine, que inició el show haciendo una parodia musical para La Bella y La Bestia. Entre las presentaciones musicales estuvieron Camila Cabello (realizando su debut en vivo como solista), J Balvin y Pitbull.
El premio a Mejor Serie del Año se lo llevó Stranger Things, al igual que Mejor Actor de TV con Millie Bobby Brown, mientras que La Bella y La Bestia ganó el premio de Mejor Película y Mejor Actor en una Película con Emma Watson.
