La mañana de este martes finalmente recibimos la noticia de las nominaciones a los Premios Oscar 2017.
Cumpliendo los pronósticos, La La Land, de Damien Chazelle, consiguió 14 nominaciones mientras que Arrival, de Dennis Villeneuve y Moonlight, de Barry Jenkins, recibieron 8. Lion y Manchester By The Sea siguen con 7 nominaciones cada una y Hacksaw Ridge con 6 posibles estatuillas.
Así, La La Land iguala el record de All About Eve y Titanic, ambas nominadas a 14 premios de la Academia y tiene en la mira batir el record de Ben-Hur, El Señor de los Anillos: El retorno del Rey y Titanic, que se llevaron 11 estatuillas a casa.
Como sorpresa, Michael Shannon le quitó la candidatura a su coestrella de Nocturnal Animals, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, quien ganó el premio a mejor actor de reparto en los Golden Globes.
La 89ª edición de los Premios Oscar se llevará a cabo el 26 de Febrero de este año. Jimmy Kimmel será el host.
